Crocodile Rock

Chito found a crocodile who he now calls Pocho close to death on river bank in Central America.  A cattle farmer had shot the crocodile in the eye and left him to die.  Chito took Pocho into his house.  Pocho had lost a lot of blood and weight. He was very ill.  Chito slept by him every night feeding him chicken or fish, and giving him medicine.

After six months Pocho was well enough to go back into the wild.  Chito left him in a lake near his house and was astounded when Pocho got out of the water and followed him home. 

Chito has taught him many tricks including Pocho responding to his name.   Tour operators take visitors to see the pair perform, which Chito only charges a few dollars for.   He considers Pocho a friend and doesn't want to exploit him.  Pocho is free to leave anytime, but is very happy to Rock-N-Roll with Chito.
