The Greyhound That Saves Lost Souls!
There are many cases where a heroic canine has rescued a human from danger.  This story, published by All-Creatures.org, is about a loving Greyhound who was rescued by humans and is currently saving many animals from demise.

In 2003 police in Warwickshire, England found an abused dog abandoned in a locked shed.  The police took the dog, a Greyhound female (which was later named Jasmine) to a close Wildlife Sanctuary, run by Geoff.

Geoff and his co-workers worked many weeks to rebuild Jasmine's trust and health.  They were all set to find Jasmine a new adoptiive home, but she had other ideas.
The Wildlife Sanctuary is a refuse for all sorts of hurt and abandoned animals.  There are many instances where Jasmine has nurtured and taken care of homeless puppies, bunnies, guinea pigs, badger cubs, fox cubs, chicks and one injured fawn.  Yes, Jasmine has become a surrogate mother to all these misplaced animals!  To this day, Jasmine still works at the Wildlife Sanctuary de-stressing the injured animals, while getting them accustomed to their new surroundings. Jasmine is a genuine Animal Hero!
