Homeless Dog Comes to the Rescue

A surveillance camera on a Santiago freeway caught images of a dog weaving in and out of speeding cars to pull the unconscious body of another canine, which had been hit by several cars, away from traffic and onto the median strip.

The dog reached safety with the other dog in tow.  Highway crews came to assist but when they tried to reach out to the rescue dog, he ran away.  The dog that had been rescued was too far gone to make it and he ended up passing away.

Many Chileans have called T.V. and radio stations to adopt this Heroic Homeless Dog but so far he hasn't made another appearance!
